My previous design for the branding is looking exactly like the "Section symbol" (right photo). At first I didn't do any research before starting to make a rough idea of making my identity to life. After the first design was published on my social media accounts, I get a lot of comments by my friends saying "It's similar to section symbol". Later I take down and unpublished my old logo design and starting to create a new one. My initial idea is to combind the letter S & O (which represents Syafiq Orange) into one single logo and I would like to give it a meaning. I would like to see my logo as a powerful logo and looking super minimal. So I took inspiration from the power icon/symbol which usually can be seen on most electrical devices and here is the results

I took the actual power icon and slightly combined it with a "half S". Keeping it as minimal as possible to make it look clean and neat. So far I am really satisfied with this design.
