Imbalance
Typography brief.
The project examines the connection between internal imbalance and creative output, the relationship between psychology and art.
Two formats of pages are used, to emphasize the imbalance.
The first consists of small square pages with readable text containing an essay on the subject written by me.
But the heart of the project is the second, a series of abstract illustrations, created using typography [type as image]. The idea behind them is art therapy, according to which when someone is asked to draw abstract images, these can be used as a method of psycho-analysis, as they are strongly related to the emotional state and the sub-conscious. Bearing that in mind, I tried to apply it to myself - with a twist (using typography to from these abstract images).
