Vreden, or the Wrath, in the north has been and is significant, writes Gerd Frost. The municipalities in Sweden that contribute the most to the country's welfare are also some of the poorest. These municipalities are located in Norrland. In Jokkmokk there are 11 hydroelectric plants, which together account for 15% of the total hydroelectric power production in the country. At the same time, Jokkmokk is one of the poorest and most exploited municipalities in the country. Norrland's natural resources lie behind Sweden's wealth, and all profits disappear from the counties they are taken from and end up in the metropolitan areas. No part of the money stays or returns to the Norrland municipalities. Norrland is Sweden's colony, although it sounds extreme.

"Give Norrland justice - not independence. Instead of requiring independence, we should demand justice from the nation we are, after all, part of" writes po Tidholm. Half a century of robbery has led to anger and the north end wants justice, while southerners laugh at the problem. One of Swedens largest newspapers, Dagens Nyheter dismisses thousands of people's experiences as drunken gibberish and idiotism. The lack of knowledge in the south and among our politicians has become the biggest problem.

This is a project about the injustice in the north - and the wrath.
