When I started to deal with astrophotography in 2015, I realized really fast that living in the centre of Europe isn’t the best place for observing and photographing the night sky, especially the beautiful centre of our Galaxy - the Milky Way. Lots of light-polluted areas almost everywhere can make life really difficult for you, even more when you don’t have any high quality lenses and equipment. As well as all the patience you need to be there at the right time (with the right weather and planetary conditions) at the right place.

I remember when I was sitting at Nachtdigital Festival 6 Years ago, watching the comparatively good night sky and how I wanted to capture this beautiful Stars at a very well known place. And year after year everything goes wrong - the nights were cloudy, the moon was to bright et cetera

Luckily I have a lot of wonderful friends which where all very enthusiastic about my little attempts to shoot the night sky. And so they decided to collect money and give me a very special special present for my 30th Birthday - the Samyang F 1.4 / 24mm Lens - a very popular lens for Astrophotography with high quality optics, to push me and my hobby.

The following Photographs were all made with this powerful and fast lens - still in light polluted Areas in the centre of Europe - but made by a really happy and excited guy with a nice optic in his hand!
