Chakra Colors Website

Chakra Colors Website
Chakra colors were the topic of my latest website design project.

At first, I did extensive research about chakras. This is how I always start my projects. I looked at many websites about chakra symbols, chakra balancing, meditation, gemstones and crystals and other topics connected with chakras.

We needed to establish a brand, so we decided to go with the name '7 Chakra Colors'. One of the reasons is that it was short, attractive and the url address was still free.

We needed to unify the design and set the categories for each of the 7 chakras: root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra and crown chakra.

Because each of the seven chakras has a different color, the design was a challenge. We needed to build separate categories for the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Below is a snapshot of the seven chakra colors website.
Elements of each Chakra Page:
First, we decided to make a canvas image for each of the chakras - from root to crown.
Therefore each of the categories has a separate canvas image in color of the chakra which it represents.

We made images with dimensions that are accepted by main social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, ...

Here's an example of third eye chakra canvas image:

As you can see it has all the elements which define the topic: third eye chakra symbol on the blue/indigo background, which is the color of third eye chakra. Each canvas image is branded with the website logo, and it has a web address. This is of particular importance because this picture gets shared across social media when a user clicks on some of the share buttons.
