MAKING OF " The Last Bus ""
Hello,  here is a small making of this image.
The purpose of this image was to transcribe the atmosphere of a photo reference
(https://www.flickr.com/photos/sebastiaoalmeida/) and to redo it in 3D.
I used 3ds max 2014 and FstormRender.
I was not looking for accuracy, I did not want to be 100% faithful
The biggest job was the glass.
The modeling took 5 min and
I used xoio 3D characters to represent my silhouettes inside.
Same for the lighting, I used simple Fstorm Plane in the interior.
For the glass shaders, I have separated my glass into two parts
One for droplet water and one for mist.
The textures were made in photoshop after Unwrap
My idea was to play with glossiness refraction to make my mist.
I made a lot version before finding the one that corresponded the best.
On this shader, I used the new FstormScratches node in bump.
On my second window I created drop water texture.
For rendering I used the LUT deluts armchair has 30%.
Then a little Post production for color calibration.
