Guess It (then) Stick It - A Dialogue Starter

Guess It (then) Stick It is a concept made for the volunteer social workers at the Roskilde Festival. The concept was chosen to be tested and validated at the Roskilde Festival 2017.

Guess It! is a wearable dialogue starter that the social workers at the festival can use in order to easier approach camps at the festival. By using a game to get in touch with festivalgoers the social workers are able to start conversations with different campers to discuss life at the festival, as well as good festival habits. This is to prevent unwanted incidents, often caused by excessive alcohol consumprion or drug use.

Stick It! is a hand-out that the social workers can give to festival goers. The aim of the sticker book is to allow festival goers to keep track of their alcohol consumption throughout the night, and to nudge them to drink more water. By placing a sticker either on a drink or the front of the booklet, people are able to track how many units they've consumed and avoid drinking too much. The Stick It! booklet was very popular amongst DTU students and went through several rounds of testing and iterations.
Guess It! is a guessing game where two players guess each others alcohol consumption. The aim is to shed light on the plural misconception; everyone thinks the people around them have had more to drink than themselves.
The project was completed during spring 2017 for the course "Holistic Design of Engineering Systems" at DTU. Group members included: Johanne Parelius, Kaja Drews, Michael Kirkeby Hansen, Marianne Duijm, Camilla Ljungberg Daoust, and Silje Risager.
