Cabaret Plastique

#CabaretPlastique  is aseries of 9 computer generated images and a video which has been exhibited at Contemporary Istanbul between September 14th and 17th 


"When producing Plastic Cabaret series, I got inspired by the #architectural visualizations that are being used for the marketing of the new residences that we are exposed because of heavy #urbanization. In these #visuals, these #buildingblocks are shown under a perfect #light in perfect harmony with the #nature and the #city that surround them. But -as we all know and experience- most of them are a part of the #concrete jungle we all have to live in. Advertisements promise us secure, luxurious locations in which we can live together with people like us...in return for all our savings and lifelong credit installments. 
Each #image in Plastic Cabaret series represents a room or a shared space within these buildings. In each room -in the kitchen of a nice house, at a poolside, in a posh #homeoffice or on an occuppied private beach- there are people who consume loads of vitamines and anti-depressants not able to understand why they are unhappy instead of enjoying their lives. 
I was using computer-generated elements in my previous works along with photographs and #video but this is the first time that I created everything -including characters- using #3d softwares."
