Project: Senior Book
As a standing tradition as George Mason University, Senior design students are challenged with creating a book, as part of their graduating process. From concept development, writing/editing, layout design, editorial design, visual usage, and printing - students gain a real world experience of taking a visual concept, working through a process and different channels, and delivering a final physical product.
For my book, I chose to do an autobiography and memoir. It was a great opportunity to not only showcase my skills and caliber as a designer, but also share a bit of my personality and history. Along with sharing my story, I wanted to focus on a clean treatment of typography and playful use of imagery.
