(Living in Pompeii, under the Roman Empire)
This children book is split in two parts, the diary of a young girl living the last days of Pompeii and a documentary set. I was told to illustrate this second part.
Two pictures were partuclarly interesing to work on :
- an animated street view on a quadruple page !
- the cut-away drawing of a typical urban rich house ( insulae) on a double page
