Personal project
Oleio, a brand of extra-virgin olive oil (maslinovo ulje), is a concept I developed as a personal project. My homeland Croatia is a Mediterranian country with lots of sunshine, especially by the seaside. Tending after olive groves and making artisanal olive oil is not uncommon here, and great quality olive oil brands are in abundance. My goal was to make a simple, yet original and noticeable bottle package for Oleio.
When one works with a top quality product, the accompanying design should accent that advantage without too much fuss. That's why I chose the main element of design to be olives - specifically, olive-shaped cutouts on a simple white label, through which shines the beauty of the oil itself.
