Help-Portrait is a movement of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists (and other creatives) using their time, tools and expertise to give back to those in need.
We are a small team of creatives working hand in hand with various charities in the Gauteng area to give back to those in need. We aim to give people who have absolutely nothing a little piece of humanity, hope, and inspiration in the form of a photograph of themselves or a loved one, and an opportunity to share their story.

In order to do this, a number of events are hosted throughout the year, each with its own specific focus group. During these events, we provide an opportunity for people in need to have their portrait taken and printed for them. We also provide the opportunity at these events for people to have their make up and hair done, choose a few new clothing items and share their story.
