I designed this suite of Word files for The Brookings Institution's Economic Studies department. There is a feature-report template, as well as a working-paper template. The files include 5 levels of headings, automated tables of contents, and all the standard academic text elements. There is a table style and a color theme based on Brookings colors, and multiple cover options to accommodate stock art of varying orientations. Each template also has a 2-column version. The department has a number of internal divisions/logos, which can be swapped out. The goal is for research assistants to be able to format manuscripts in Word and get a similar result to an InDesign-formatted document.
