Gaia Coalition - branding project






UNIVERSAL SUSTAINABILITY

Not long after the colonization of Mars, as humanity moved ahead into new era of space exploration and planetary conquest, a group of countries came together to ensure that our presence in the colonized planet and in the universe be free of the mistakes committed on Earth by past generations.

That is how the Gaia Coalition came to be: as an organization that would pioneer sustainable development at a planetary level,  with every country on Earth as a member. With a foundation based in a global community, the latest technological advances and a strong believe in synergy and unity, the Coalition became an organization that shaped the future of Earth.

The Gaia Coalition represented the first steps to a change in human mentality and a new tomorrow for Earth and humanity.










BRAND ARCHITECTURE
The Gaia Coalition will have a strong presence in every planet where there is human activity, as well as several internal departments within its own organization.This is the reason why the brand must be flexible and be able to adapt itself to every environment where it will be present.

In order to maintain a clear and easy-to-learn brand architecture, all external and official communications made in the name of the Gaia Coalition must use the institutional color called Gaia Blue and the support color Gaia Blue. However, for internal communication purposes between each planet where the Coalition has an established presence and their internal departments, a color code was assigned to identify each planet.

This has the intention of giving the Gaia Coalition a unified voice as an organization, while also giving each planet it's own internal personality.










As well as having an specific color, each planet will also have a planetary brand of their own to use strictly for internal communication purposes.

In the case of internal departments, they should change the name of the planet for the corresponding department and always use their planetary color. This way, the different sub-brands can be easily identified for their planetary color












BUILDING THE BRAND

To create a powerful brand with strong brand awareness and achieve global recognition, the Gaia brand must appear in every touch point possible; from spacecrafts and satellites to mobile devices and uniforms. To achieve these objectives the brand must be carefully managed across all planets and touch points, which in turn will help people see the Coalition as a reliable brand with a unified and consistent visual identity.













BRAND GUIDELINES

Although the theme of this project is purely fictional (yet), the brand guidelines are real. In these next images you'll be able to see inside the pages of the brand manual for the Gaia Coalition.
