The brief for this project was to create a image that would be the first thing visitors to my portfolio see and a showcase of my skills as a CGI Artist.
I wanted to incorporate a number of key skills including:
Modification of a 3d model.
High end Material/Texture creation.
Back-plate/scene creation.
Photo-realistic lighting.
Creative Retouching.
Addition of a character/human into the scene.
I chose one of my favourite cars, the Corvette C1, which i have used in renders before but i wanted to create a bespoke version, something i would love to drive in reality.
Inspired by the Corvette C1 RS and other custom Corvettes and classic cars that have been brought into the 21st century i created something i have come to call, the Corvette C1 Onyx Edition.
