Completed as quick exercise to better understand how types of play relate to the things that facilitate them, this taxonomy is a tool for understanding the 16 types of play developed by Bob Hughes in his book A Playworker's Taxonomy of Play Types and how these play types relate to the things that enable them. 
Each booklet provides insight into one play type, containing the definition of the play type, the broad facilitators of the play type, and specific "case studies". 
Stickers associated with each play type can be used to assign additional play types to the case studies. By grouping case studies with overlapping play types, we can better understand the relationships between different types of play.
