A university final major project on the theme of Neurological disorders that have been documented by doctors in various medical journals. Oliver Sacks’ books were the main inspiration for the content—an example of which is the famous case of Kim Peek. Peek is considered a ‘super savant’ with the ability to absorb and remember 98% of every book he has ever read. Peek can also read two pages of a book in 8–10 seconds using his right eye to read the right page and his left eye to read the left page simultaneously.
The ‘Encyclopedia Britannica Guide to the Brain’ was reinterpreted with neurological disorders in mind. An example of this would be the case of a man who can only see things as abstract shapes; this was illustrated by subtly changing a chapter number to a triangle.
