So this is a Star Wars fanart illustration i made as a tribute to Carrie Fisher , just around the time when she passed away.

As always i started with my digital sketch. I try to keep this one fast and simple. Trying to focus on composition and distribution of all the elements. Just for the record I was hoping to keep this illustration simple and clean.

This is my second sketch which i usually make with the purpose to clean all the messy lines and find the final shapes. I seek soft curves and drastic sharp lines

Then I add some shades and basic colors. I really liked Leias clothing volumes on this one. So simple was not an option anymore lel

And again the final result after cleaning up contour lines and working patiently on volumes and shades. That's all. Thanks for passing by.
