Business Of Ideas is a content and marketing strategy firm based in Mumbai, India. It needed to position itself as a new age marketing firm, with a young team of talented individuals which provide out of the box ideas. 

A complete logo re-design was desperately needed as a crucial part of its re-branding efforts. 
The new logo concept needed to look modern and professional. Working with the initials to form a custom, unique symbol seemed to be the best way forward. 

To reduce the complexity of the symbol, the letter "O" was dropped. 
Now, the challenge was to use the letters "B" and "I" to form a symbol which represents a new age marketing firm, exudes creativity and is aesthetically appealing. 
Negative space was utilized to form the initials. Negative Space compels the viewer to use his imagination & see what is not actually there. This represents creative and out of the box thinking well, but the symbol still lacked the desired uniqueness.
The symbol was given a more 3 Dimensional and abstract look to make it stand out
The Black line forming the "B", is used only as a visual guide. It was used in the logo intro animation to aid the viewers in identifying the letter more clearly in the abstract symbol. 
The client wanted to retain the Black, White and Red colour palette of their old logo
The single letter "I" represents the connect between Business and Ideas
The final logo design features a circle around the symbol which enables it to be used on both a light and a dark background.
