At the end of third year I wanted to redesign my award winning 2016 ISTD book. I wanted to try and experiment with a new layout and design for a smaller format as I had grown to not be a fan of the large format had originally been chosen. The idea was to design a layout that would be more practical if published in the real world compared to the original design which was intended to show off my ability to use type in multiple ways for the ISTD competition. Many of the ideas remained in the design such as the front cover and other pages being changed just to find into a smaller format. With this re design I wanted to experiment with the idea of breaking the pages up into thirds and laying out the content though this grid structure which I am a big fan of. Here the design shows images take from various parts of the book.
