Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary. What better destination is there than at the Toronto Zoo? A direct mail campaign will be executed to cordially invite families to Party Like an Animal at the Toronto Zoo using interactive mail that transforms into unique party hats shaped like Canadian species at the zoo.

Invitations will be sent out and inside a textured card stock letter will invite parents to celebrate Canada’s 150th at the zoo along with information on Canadian species. On the other side there will be an animal design.

On the hats, a code will scan 15% off a child’s admission at their next visit at the zoo. Each hat will only be useable once.
A social media campaign will encourage parents to post photos of their children wearing the hats using the hashtag #PartyLikeAnAnimal for a chance to win one of four trips on the Safari Party Bus which will transport winning families to the zoo and back.
