Cook, according to the definition, is to prepare food by the use of heat, as by boiling, baking, or roasting.. This actions are done on a daily basis, and we see them since our childhood. So, cooking is mechanical and necessary. But, cooking is, also, something that you do at home, with your family. Going beyond this individual kitchen and place it outside means to share and expose all the values related to cooking. It would mean to meet people, to talk with them. The kitchen became a place for discussion and tastings.

Moreover, the child is an unusual user, who observe and reproduce adults actions. He imitates his parents cooking. That is why he plays role-games, such as playing at tea parties (with doll’s tea set). This game : “tea parties“ is about making a fake meal, (or a real one), while playing.

The imitation become a game. Adults teach children to cook, facing each other. Adults help each others, side by side. In the end, everyone is playing with food! As a lemonade stand, the mobile kitchen can move outside. The eating area is made by stools of different sizes. Bigger one for tables, smaller one for sitting. We understand the disproportionate furnitures help to adjust look. Adults are surrounded by small elements, while children move in a space at their scale.
