Burnt Chimney Brewing Company is a up and coming brewery in Forest City North Carolina. They contacted me to come up with some label designs for there products. The first of which being there smoked porter named "Charred Ruins".
Design Brief :
Our smoked porter we are going to call "Charred Ruins." Since the brewery is named around the old town name of Burnt Chimney, we wanted to create a beer around that as well, only with a slightly different take on the name. As it states in the history books for Forest City, the town was known as Burnt Chimney from the remains of an old farm house that burnt to the ground near a dirt 4-way intersection of road. The chimney remains is what signified you were in the town of Burnt Chimney. We want to capture this setting as if you came across this burnt old farmhouse as the sun rose and morning dew dissipates, with the remains still smoldering days after.

Then moved the design into Procreate to add some effect to the design
