Creating a new app for the Detroit Institute of Arts was a project I have planned for a while. A good reason being the current app is basically useless.

As you see in the following slides the app is "pay as you go" meaning for each section you need to pay another $2.99 It's also basically a PDF version of their free map once you download and a zoomable offline street map of the city.

For a museum of it's stature it deserves to have an app that is inviting to use and enjoyable for patrons. Which meant that albeit being an "unofficial" app I wanted to stay as close to the DIA website style guide following their color and font format.
