ACTIVITY 1
For this project, I used photoshop to make the poster. First, I started a new "project" on photoshop, which was 11inx17in. I then downloaded the font I wanted from "Da Fonts", then I looked for a background and the spartan logo on Google. I then placed the background and logo in photoshop.

3 THINGS I LIKE:
~I like the cover page for the grade 12s
~I like the cover page for each grade because it has everyones last name on it.
~I also like the layout for the grade 12s
3 THINGS I DON'T LIKE:
~I don't like the backgrounds because I think it will look better if it was just white.
~I also don't like the back of the yearbook because it is too plain.
~I don't like the borders for the pictures.
For this project, we sketched our own designs. We chose to include the spartan logo, and we ended up choosing the second design but we still changed it up a bit.
For this project, we used Illustrator. For the font, we chose "Bad Grunge" from Da Fonts. We also decided to use black and red for the background because it is the school colours.
ACTIVITY 3
For this project, I used Illustrator. I chose this image from google because I like it. First i made rectangular boxes using the rectangle tool, then i used the colour picker tool to pick out the colours I like, Then i wrote the CYMK values.
ACTIVITY 4
For this project, we used Indesign to create this page. First, we made triangles using the rectangle tool and then while using the pen tool, i clicked on one corner and it would create a triangle. I then filled the triangles with pictures of dance or SMW, for some of the pictures we chose to fill it in with red and black. Also, since SMW has a two page spread on the yearbook the other page will be a group picture of the SMW members.
ACTIVITY 5
For this project, I used Photoshop to get rid of her acne and redness. I used the spot healing brush tool to get rid of her acne and redness. Then i "softened" her skin using the tutorial that was provided. I also changed her eye colour by selecting each eye and changing the hue and saturation and colour.
ACTIVITY 6
For this project, I googled and downloaded a high quality image, then I opened up photoshop. I then duplicated the background layer, after I selected the drink with the magnetic lasso tool. After selecting the drink, I then inverse the image, then I desaturated it.
ACTIVITY 7
These are my inspirations because I like the "minimalistic" type of layout. For the first two examples, I like the colour combinations and the calligraphy font used. For the third example, I like the how it is a two page layout but there is still information about the graduation on the second page, I also like the font used because it makes the pages look "clean". For the fourth example, I mainly chose it because I like the banner on the top left corner. For the last example, it is like the third example but the "Class of 2016" is on the picture, so I like that, I also like how there are more photos on the second page.
ACTIVITY 8
For this project, I used Photoshop to make a cinemagraph. First, i took a video of me pouring a drink into a glass.
ACTIVITY 9
For this activity, I used Photoshop to restore the photo. first i opened up Photoshop then i duplicated the background layer. After i used the clone stamp to fix the damaged parts.
