Frontier — UI artist test

The UI is the result of an accepted test task for Frontier.
The final images was delivered in 7 days.

The Goal
The goal was to make a clean console video game UI in retro art style for mature audience. The style should be delivered in a setting of 60s sci-fi.
The content of the screen should contain a list of accepted missions.
A candidate also should draw three icons: Hacking, Espionage, Delivery.

The features of the concept
The main feature of this concept is to show the player a real map near the mission, because each mission is attached to the place on the map. Of course the map points can’t be located linearly so the real map can be moved independently from the missions list

The second one feature is the easy transition between views, such as global city map view → list of missions view → mission details. Now it's smoothly translated one to another because of the solid environment.

The third one feature is to keep information clean from graphic and ability to apply effects and game setting for the background.
