Corporate Identity
Fancie is a cupcake company based in Sheffield. I chose to rebrand this company for a University corporate identity project as i was drawn to how Amanda started the company at home, driven by her passion for all things sweet and home baked. She describes on the company website how it connects her to childhood memories of baking with her mum.
I wanted to explore this emotion that Amanda had when baking and reflect it through the identity. I chose a soft colour scheme for the identity keeping true to cupcakes sold focusing mainly on the taste we no additives or bright/artificial colouring. Through the applications i connect the design back to the logo using the lines of the cupcake holder and the dot of the 'i' as devices.
