“Sea Sunflowers” aims to create conditions for the establishment of a network of solar beach umbrellas on the territory on the city beaches in Varna by 2017 which coincides and supports the title of Varna as European Youth Capital 2017. The project envisions that to happen by modifying seven (7) existing beach umbrellas on the territory of the central city beaches in the city. Each of the seven umbrellas is equipped with a flexible solar panel with the following dimensions: 45 cm x 18 cm x 1.2 cm, and power of 10 W. Each umbrellas as two USB ports for charging devices. Each solar charging station has the capacity to charge 2 electronic devices simultaneously.
