Nanigans: Taonga Island Farm

A series of Facebook ads for Taonga Island Farm, a Sim City/Farmville style civilization clone game for mobile devices. I pursued a few different concepts here, including capitalizing on the vibrant, almost Pixar-esque character designs and in-game screenshots.
I also explored an aspirational gameplay idea of building up and constantly upgrading one's settlement and ships, a recurring theme in city/farm sim games.
A popular concept to engage users is to ask them questions, or encourage them to click. Here, I tried a fun, slightly goofy method of engagement, asking users to spot the differences and click on the images.
