Curiosdani VS The Burrito Challenge

The Burrito Challenge is an illustration/character design challenge created by a pair of illustrators that go by @aspirinoverdose and @peter.vs.thewolves on instagram.

Day 01: Dragon Charmer
Would choose watching an old lady tossing food to dragons, instead of one tossing crumbs to pigeons ANYDAY!
#30dayburritochallenge

Day 02: Spell Caster
Inspired by totem poles, animal spirits and rain dancing. Tried to not go the obvious "wizards" route.

Day 03: Skeletal Wanderer
Wanderers don't seem complete without a loyal, mighty steed. The adventure (and challenge) continues!

Day 04: Lucky Cat Boy
"In the war zone, the little punk has it easy." I'm not too hot about drawing battle tanks,
unless they are designed like giant lucky cats.

Day 05: Elemental Xian (Immortal)
I wanted her to have chakarams, but the illustration would have looked too busy. Thought it was good enough that she was slicing gourd jugs with elements spilling out of them. #excessive HAHAHA

Day 06: Forest Folk
I really like looking at drawings and designs of tiny forest dwellers like fairies and gnomes.
Here's a momma gnome scolding her boy. I imagine he did something dumb like try to pick a fight with a dangerous animal or something. Of course, as she's yelling at him, she's pulling a leaf over his head to protect him from the rain
...totally modeled after filipino moms.

Day 08: Jorogumo (Spider Shapeshifting Yokai)
Played with a lot of patterns with this one, so it's a little busier then usual. I like how I did her spider-flower kimono though. And her tiny eyebrows that look like another pair of eyes.
