The Association for Vertical Farming is an internationally active nonprofit organization of individuals, companies, research institutions and universities focusing on leading and advancing the sustainable growth and development of the vertical farming movement.

One of the primary missions of the Association for Vertical Farming is to bring together experts, policy makers and newcomers towards collaboration in Urban and Vertical Farming.
As Design Volunteer I create graphics, flyers, mockups and much more.

My work is shared on social media where thousands of vertical farming enthusiasts see it.
Personally, I believe that there are better systems of food production than traditional agriculture.

Traditional agriculture consumes lots of resources: water, land, pesticides, herbicides. It's fragile when it comes to reliability and improvable when it comes to food security.
My contribution to AVF is a way to push the idea of vertical farming forward as well as a way to grow personally. I'm improving my design skills and am learning to collaborate remotely in a globally distributed team.

It feels great to be part of this movement!
Since our team is spread around the globe, we collaborate online. There is the idea to develop a Collaborative Online Platform. It unites different tools to enhance collaboration. I created a mockup of how it could look like.
There are frequent summits in different places around the world. It's an event that brings together AVF members, representative from the industry, interested parties and friends.
One work I am really proud of is the flyer for the Agri-Techathon in Cambodia.
AVF is on air! We launched our own podcast in late 2017. I designed the podcast logo. Do you like it?
