I got a Rocket!
Going back a way! This was my first picture book. Writer Matt Zurbo and I met through a mutual friend and struck up a rapport over shared love of science fiction and comic books.
The book itself went on to being optioned, then adapted into an animated series by SLR Productions, winning an Emmy in 2008.
We followed that up with an epic that's been described variously as either too confusing or too subversive. Maybe one day! Matt and I went on to create 'My Dad's a Wrestler!'
