I worked with Universal Everything on this spectacular project which was commissioned by Euisun Chung - Vice-Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, Peter Schreyer - automotive designer and president of Kia Motors and Do Ho Suh - Artist.

The brief was to "bring the future of Hyundai to life" via an amazing 36 channel Iosono surround sound system and a 24 metre wide video wall at the companies head quarters outside Seoul. Armed with my trusty field recorder, I had the opportunity to join the team on a week long research tour of South Korea's steel foundries, shipyards, wind tunnels, crash test labs and test tracks.

Soundtracking the resulting 18 films was an incredible experience. The multi dimensional sound system meant that it was possible to further draw viewers into and around the space resulting in an incredibly immersive experience that has to be experienced to be believed.
