Yes, I actually made a bar. Or a music venue (bar for musicians). Actually this is just a fraction of the project as it featured a whole building with rooms to be renovated and put to use as rehearsal studios. I got a real job while working on the project, which since has become a very succesful projeck, expanding with other venues and growing to this day.
The tables and benches are made of old stage stair modules used in a musical and reused wood from the backdrop supports.
The ultra-absorbant acoustics from the fabric walls and the dim-lit atmosphere really sucks your eyes right up on the stage.
I sketched a few and fast ideas in solidworks, about how we could use the materials we had to radically alter the appearance of the room - this is the basis of what has been built till now.
