CRAZY APE
(My own project)
A project that I did a while back. This illustration was the first one where I said to myself that I need to start putting more details into my sketches in order to make it a bit easier for me to vector it up. And also because during the vector process (this one and others), I wanted to change some details or got some new ideas, so this way I "restrict" myself not to experiment too much and save the ideas for the next project.
This illustration was also the first one where I decided to start adding more details to different areas ( nose, eyes, head, etc.) in order to make my work more detailed and to brush up my style. I am very happy with this one, since it was a new milestone for my skills and a good "starting" point to push forward.
