An Idea that came to mind whilst being up a bit too late on my tablet. Scrolling, reading and watching various social media and other sites. I thought how can I sum this behavier up. Whilst I know I am not alone when I am up late fixated on a screen and mostly entertained buy consuming various content, I am also aware that its somewhat an unhealthy habit.

I very much enjoy word play and whilst thinking about this constant source of consumption through my Ipad, the words came together. It had to be something short and that would loop nicely.

After that came the idea to have curtains close over the top of a tablet graphic. This idea that my routine sees me wake up and go to sleep with my tablet. The textures and overlays were a lot of fun to play around with although their colour, shape and movement are all about the representation of data in the background on and away from the device.

When I have been watching my Ipad for some time and then put it down, I have felt that much of my viewing has been mindless. The session of consumption has past and particularly with an application such as facebook, I have thrown most of that information away and not made any mental note of it.

Had thoughts had intentions.
