History Book Design
This is a book design for the history and contemporary influence of De Stijl. De Stil elements, primary colors, and rectangles are used throughout the book. De Stijl means “the style” in Dutch. It was an art revolution originated from Netherlands. The De Stijl promotes pure abstraction and the value of absolute harmony by using simplistic forms and colors. Geometric forms like straight lines, right angles, and three primary colors, red, yellow and blue along with black and white are used to achieve its objective of the absolute abstraction.
The Layout was inspired by the style of “De Stijl” that using primary colors and Geometric forms.It includes three sections: Background of De Stijl, Representative works, and contemporary influence of De Stijl.
