"Excess" is sculpture inspired by and created from the book Abundance by Sena Jeter Naslund. The text was transformed into teacups, petticoats, pastries, heels, and frills in order to capture Marie Antoinette's overindulgent lifestyle. It also forms the body of the queen herself as she steps out from the pages.
