Personally, I believe in trains as future long-distance leading transportation vehicles. I always enjoy travelling by train and I'm curious how the development will continue. Are you asking what about hyperloop? Sure, it will be great on some main metropolitan connections, but I expected the very best combination of effectiveness on large built infrastructure will be trains for next decades.
I believe in a combination of autonomous cars for city travel and high-speed trains for long distance travel.
