Urban Kei is a JDM vehicle importer located in Washington State. The owner contacted me to design a company logo reminiscent of late 80s/Early 90s graphic styles.
Many of the most popular models of JDM vehicles trace their era of production to the 90s and earlier. As such, the look and feel of era-specific design calls back to a period that produced some of the most loved vehicles within the JDM community.
The primary logo features the company name and colors (green, purple, and gold) with a metallic gradient against a white field
The client requested a secondary text layout for use as a bumper sticker
Flat color variants were created to accommodate a wide range of uses
