For the re-launch of the Grand Prix chair designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957 in its original version with wooden legs, Fritz Hansen invited Italian designer Diego Grandi to develop a project using the iconic piece of Design. To do so, Grandi involved tattoo artist Pietro Sedda that celebrated its authenticity by writing a story directly onto its “skin”. The lines evoke the grace of a human body and for this reason the idea it’s been to look at it like a body enhancing its peculiarities with an intimate, indelible, enduring sign.
For this project I have been responsible for the Photo Shoot portraying the “Behind the Scenes”, building an alternative narration for the independent press.
