This was a small loft renovation project that I enjoyed doing. I had only a couple of weeks to finish works while the residents were on holiday. I can say that I spent day and night working, in order for it to be ready when they returned. The original space had grey carpets, white colour paint throughout and panelled ceiling with square neon fixtures lights. 

In the photos we have already replaced the old ceiling with plaster board ceiling.

Preparations for colour and lights...

I have designed some shelves for the space. I have to admit it was much easier designing than building them. At one stage I almost quitted the idea of building the shelves. This project proved to be more DIY than I thought at the beginning not only because of its tight schedule but also because it took place during Christmas holiday.

I have found very interesting bed lights which I thought will bring at least a smile. They looked like flies, using a normal bulb as their head and something very similar with a tea ball infuser for the eyes and the trunk.
