Design concept for Soła River Park fragment in Oświęcim
Purpose: Master thesis (Agricultural University, Cracow)
Key ideas: river park, pumptrack, playground, new functions, visual code based on plants colours, nature role in the city life, reconnection - the city with the river

Content: 3d models, video visualisation, architectural layouts, analyses (of the place's history and other), analyses of worlds river parks
The aim of this thesis was designing concept of Soła River Park fragment in Oświęcim. The idea of the project was to reconnect city with the river by space rearrangment and adding new functions. What is more, the importance of river forests in this area was underlined. Basic element joining together park elements was visual code based on plants colors appearing in Soła River Park. It shows the nature role in the city life. The project is aimed for all ages and makes new opportunities. It also plays on imagination. Park consists of new element such as playgrounds, sport pitches and educational paths.
Designed playground in sport-recreational area is designed with element names that take children into magical world of wild nature. It encourages them to make own element names and gain knowledge about nature in this area. Next is pumptrack with exercise place, it is aimed for all ages, not only youth. Educational path is designed to contemplate and gain knowledge by discovering. The whole project is replenished by the greenery chosen for these specific conditions.
