Our assignment was to create a drawing mechanism that followed guidelines for movement and mark making. After several series of experimentation, including creations that rolled, flapped, slithered and slid, we ultimately decided on our final mechanism. Our final product is a cube that is easily assembled through the use of box joints and that hangs from the ceiling with lights fixed inside of it. As the box spins, the light is projected through the cut outs and shines the pattern onto the wall. My partner for this project was Juliana Schnerr
