As the Gaffer & Lighting Director for this film, I collaborate a lot with the Director & Cinematographer Michael Pain in order to create stand out images

We tried to explore the main character's depression through low-key lighting.

We tried a variation of lighting techniques to bring the character's feeling to her surrounding.

We mainly use:

• Arri Fresnel Kit (2 x 650 & 1 x 300)

• 1K

• 6 x 6 Silk

• 1.2K HMI

• 4 Banks KinoFlo

When we bounce, we bounce the light to muslin, wall or poly boards.

We use black drape attached to c-stand near the character or on a window to cut down exposure.
