Synthetic Space is a selection of works of contemporary art that seeks to explain the close relationship between art and design, and how this relationship manifests itself.

When art involves a dimension more connected to the spaces and the use of them by the visitor,
who is involved in the first person, it happens that through space, art convey a message that, thanks to the visitor's movements, gets more direct and is imprinted in memory.
Art in this way uses design, which has always had a user-centered approach and therefore has a consolidated tradition behind it.
For this reason we can talk about a "synthetic" space, in the chemical sense of the term, that is a space created by the synthesis of the two disciplines. A new kind of space whose shape is not related to its function.
The advantage of this union of art and design lies precisely in this: art can free design from its boundaries, we could almost say it is a symbiotic relationship that enriches both.
