ADM Our Story is a 128 page, case-bound book showcasing the very best of The Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University. The book is divided into sections, highlighting successes by students, alumni and staff. A different style and layout was developed for each section to display the various content types uniquely.

The cover for the book was inspired by both early 20th Century, European graphic design as well as modern trends. The illustration depicts scenes from all the different Schools within the Faculty as one large hotbed of creative activity. This reflects one of the Faculty’s great strengths of collaboration and interdisciplinary work.

A bold decision was made to not feature a logo or title on the front panel of the book. This makes the book quite unusual and makes the reader wonder what's in store.
