The concept of new Arlight showroom is mainly based on the idea of demonstration various types of light with different functionalities and lighting scenarios. As a result, the showroom is mainly composed out of several functional areas: showroom with a transformable zone for lectures or mobile show-windows; meeting room is located in the center of the showroom framed with red glass walls; office zone is represented by a working space for managers and director’s office, elevated on the podium; “black box” is a room for demonstration of light functionalities using a special control system; kitchen, chill out zone, dressing room and bathroom create a comfortable environment and relaxing mood.
Different shades of white color were used to demonstrate light production; broken edges emphasize relations between light and shade. Many other techniques complement the concept of space: parametric tables for managers, broken hanging panels and partitions with built-in LED profiles, infographics based on light and shadow, the usage of glass and seamless floor coverings, etc
