Potatoes
On a late summer evening in Beijing over 300 people gathered to hear about 'Why we all eat Potatoes: the secret power of branding'. MetaDesign Beijing together with Studio Output Beijing hosted the Glug event, which featured a passionate presentation from our Managing Director Mauro Marescialli on 'successful branding in rock music'. 

The design was inspired by Frederik The Great, King of Prussia, a branding expert ahead of his time who turned the beloved potato from a forced failure to a must-have food for the Prussian Masses.The hand-printed potato typography brought personality and flavour to the evening from the posters and entry stamps to of course, the snacks.

土豆与品牌
在一个仲夏傍晚,人们从四面八方而来,涌入北京三里屯,只为参加由MetaDesign和奥璞工作室联合举办的品牌知识分享讲座。整场讲座通过一个个有趣的小故事串联,常务董事茅毅辉通过两个引人入胜的故事 “土豆的品牌力量” “ 摇滚乐中的品牌” 生动形象的阐述了品牌的价值。

这次活动的设计灵感来自普鲁士的国王,品牌专家,Frederik,他成功的通过品牌效应,将快从人们餐桌上消失的土豆转变为必不可少的抢手食物。手作的土豆图标为今夜带来潮玩个性与独特味道,不仅使用于活动海报和进场印章,当然也反映在现场提供的小吃上。
