MEIZU
The south China-based smartphone manufacturer’s story began with a big dream and relentless ambition.

The design is inspired by the idea of a balloon lifting up into the sky, the design’s core concept was “Uplifting” — to encourage chasing dreams. The balloon icon and the “Uplifting” spirit infuses every facet of the brand identity system, from the smooth and sleek letterform logotype to the playful, distinctive color, imagery and typeface. Meizu’s distinctive blue is specifically built into the identity system with the addition of white and black – which link to Meizu’s three product brands and reflect a balloon rising from the sky to outerspace. The identity conveys both the brand’s human touch and simplicity of its leading-edge technology.

设计的灵感来自于气球升入天空的想法,设计的核心概念是“Uplifting”–––追逐梦想 。气球图标和“Uplifting”的精神渗入品牌系统的各个方面,从平滑而有韵律感的字体标识到俏皮、独特的色彩,以及图像和字体。 魅族独特的蓝色搭配着新加入的白色和黑色,在标识系统中扮演了连接魅族的三个产品品牌的角色,同时构造了气球从天空扩展到太空的画面。此次全新的形象设计充分传达了品牌的人文情怀和技术的简约与前沿性。
